Windows XP was freezing and starting up really slow so I decided to add another (the 3rd) hard drive to just install the operating system and the programs on it to make the next clean install (I figured that it just HAS to be done after a while) much less of a headache.
I didn't have to look very long. (see below the listing from craigslist)
The cool thing was that it had a frame on top of it with 2 cooling fans! Since me GPU was running pretty hot (80° +), I just took the frame off the hard drive (I don't know why it was on it in the first place) and took the fans out. I placed one on the heat sink of the GPU and the other one on the heat sink of the graphics card. I don't know why it is running so hot. But the fans cooling it down to 72°. It still seems hot but it's better than before
So now everything is working smooth and fast again.
